Trends for teenagers keep changing so it is no surprise if one sees a different look and a different set of trends altogether in the teenage section or the teenage department! The teens of today are far different from the typical teen of yesterday. The teens of the yester years did not focus half or even a quarter percentages as much as today, on aspects such as style and fashion, and today, there is no surprise and it is an evident guess that teenagers today love fashion and they love to look stylish and super fashionable!
Trends that are going to or rather, predicted to be popular for the year 2010 are as follows.
- The sergeant pepper jacket style shirts and jackets are predicted to be crazily or largely fashionable for the year 2010, in the winter months to come.
– The dresses that have summer prints that are of flowers and prints that lean towards colour and mixes of soothing and loud colours on the dresses are predicted to be oh,so,poplaur for the summer months that are approaching!
- Bags that have big spaces and are large printed with colours of beige or white are stylish and are in vogue for the year 2010.
- The cut offs and the jeans with a skinny feel to it, or in other words, the skinny jeans syndrome is very apparent in teenagers and young adults today. This trend has been popular in the last few years and continues in its levels of popularity for the following year and this year as well. Skinny jeans are lovely and fitted, and a black tee with blue skinny jeans and a nice pair of wedged shoes from Aldo or Catwalk make a teenager’s ensemble a complete and a fulfilling one!
- The shoes are a big aspect in teenagers’ lives just as it is a big aspect for adults. Shoes that are heeled in wedges are better suited to the teenagers as heels that are stiletto based are avoidable for youngsters. Flat shoes and Mary-Janes (Mary Janes are shoes that resemble school going shoes with a sandal feel and a clasp) are predicted to continue in the trend of popular and fashion centric wear for teenagers in the year 2010.
